The course "Biological nature collections and zoos - the relationship between man and animals" took place on February 19 - 22, 2023.

The course was held in a similar format to that of the previous two cycles, two days at the Hebrew University's Safra campus (Givat Ram), in the national nature collections, and two days at the Biblical Zoo and the Israel Aquarium.

In the course, where the teachers and instructors are the staff of the National Nature Collections, the Biblical Zoo and the Israel Aquarium, 23 students from different faculties, most of them from the Hebrew University participated. During the four days of the course, the students heard lectures, participated in workshops on topics related to the practice of managing nature collections and managing life collections of Animals in zoos and aquariums, visited displays and behind the scenes at the zoo and aquarium, were exposed to advanced treatment methods that include training the animals (intended to improve their health and well-being) and visited some of the national nature collections.
